    Bios Features

Gigabyte calls their system tuning module "Motherboard Intelligent Tweaker" (or M.I.T.)  There you will find all of the frequency and voltage controls that you are allowed to change.

The BIOS is laid out in 2 basic parts.  The main MIT screen features the common voltage and frequency controls.  Whereas the associated advanced menus allow you to tweak the settings further.  For most standard overclocks the primary menu will be enough, however not everything is available from the main screen.

Below are some of the more interesting screens found in the GA-990FXA-UD5 BIOS.(in no particular order)

It should be noted that the 990FXA features a Hybrid EFI BIOS which has a traditional feel, allows for 3TB HDD support and for the addition of modules to be added at a later time.
As with all BIOS menus it is a good idea to root around a bit and find all of the settings you are looking for and discover what their dependencies might be.  We found that several settings were hidden from view but later found buried in one of the advanced menus.  Also pay attention to the lower section of the BIOS since that is where you'll find the CMOS profile menu.
