    Case Cooling and Install

As mentioned early in this review the SilverStone FARA 514X is designed for higher airflow cooling.  At the front of the case you will find 3x 120mm ARGB fans with a single 120mm fan at the rear.  Every fan has a white center and does a really good job at defusing the ARGB lights from the fan hub.

You will notice that the fans are mounted on the outside of the chassis which is a design that I prefer for AIO radiator installs where you sandwich the chassis between the fans and radiator.  Not only is the method extremely strong but, helps to maximize space inside the chassis.

So, why is maximizing space important?

Something I never really mentioned is that the FARA 514X is slightly shorter than your standard ATX chassis while still offering enough room to support 394mm expansion cards.  When you install the fans inside of the chassis that depth is reduced to 378mm and is reduced even more when you install an AIO.

The front bezel is made completely from perforated and folded metal making it great for hiding the included 120mm fans while still holding its shape.

While the front of the FARA 514X only supports 120mm fans and 360mm radiators the top exhaust will support 2x 140mm fans or 3x 120mm fans for additional cooling.  For AIO watercooling enthusiasts, the radiator support will mirror the fan capacity.
