    Case Interior and Storage

Here is the part where I like to open up the case and check out the interior layout and we will start with the cable management section behind the motherboard tray.  In the center you’ll find the source of the simulated cracked glass effect which is a FAN and RGB hub to control the fans and sync the lights across the installed fans.  Sadly, this is not a PWM controller but should be enough for keeping the chassis cool.

To the right you’ll find one of the primary storage mounting locations.  This plate will support a single rotational hard drive or two 2.5” SSDs.

A single drive rack is located under the basement panel of the FARA 514X and didn’t come with a quick-change tray.  This is a strong sign that 3.5” rotational hard drives are falling out of favor, even at the low end of the DIY spectrum.

Speaking of basement panel it is 100% utility.  You’ll find three holes for cable access to the bottom part of the motherboard along with a single hole for power cables to the video card.  Along the right side of the motherboard tray is an adjustable graphics card support bracket with holes to support any position and heatsink width on the market.

Of course, to the right of the basement is a single large access hole for radiator access.  It isn’t quite big enough for DIY pump reservoir support but, we can talk about that later in this review.
