Cooler Master Cosmos II Ultra Tower Case Review

Introduction
In the early days of case construction there was virtually no effort paid to placement of components, cooling and size. This left us with a few sudo standards in chassis design that tended to start with the tower and decrease in size from there. It wasn't until the advent of the practical mid-tower that the standard tower started to get smaller.
A couple things were lost as the standard tower shrunk, the modding potential afforded by the larger chassis and the capacity that many of us lust for but few actually use. Looking back many of the classic tower chassis were all about external 5.25" drive bays and to keep the case slim the extra drive bays were added to the top of the chassis above the motherboard. Cooler Master was one of the first to introduce what we call "the stacker" style where the entire front of the chassis is filled with external 5.25" drive bays with the motherboard behind.

In this review we have another first being introduced by Cooler Master called the Cosmos II Ultra Tower. For those of you who remember the original Cosmos it was one of the great gaming cases that basically combined the collective knowledge of modern case design and mixed in a few stylized customizations. The result was one of the most unique looking cases you could buy.
