More RTX 4070 Crazyness and some RTX 50 Series Leaks and Rumors

NVIDIA RTX 4070 Refactor
Recently there was some news posted about how new editions of the RTX 4070 were getting slight memory change that would lower overall gaming performance by around 5%.  Normally you would expect that a change that lowers performance would also lower the price however, the RTX 4070, now with GDDR6 memory, instead of GDDR6X, will have the same basic spec and price tag. 

While most users will never notice a difference it has certain hardware enthusiasts concerned about the future of “new” RTX 40 Series cards and if their beloved GPUs have started to become a victim ShrinkFlation in hopes that consumers will not notice while adding some margin to the mfgs bottom line.

It would be our opinion that anyone concerned should simply pick a better card and not think too much about it.

NVIDIA RTX 50 Series Leaks
Leaks are big business in the sensational news arena, not only do they generate effortless interest into a questionable subject but, make for great click bait for editors whom get paid based on traffic to their articles. 

Well, the RTX 50 Series rumors have started flying from some rather insane power draw numbers to retail chips with over 20 thousand CUDA cores making us all wonder if NVIDIA will finally bring back SLI so we can finally get past the GPU bottleneck.

Of course, we won’t know that until cards hit the shelves sometime around 2025.
