To Actually Buy a Processor
In last months Podcast Extra we had a long discussion about picking a processor. We covered things like budget, specs and the relation between the two, while most will struggle to know what processor is actually compatible our intention was to make sure you got what you needed without spending too much.
Well, Darren was finally able to buy his CPU and, not surprising, the one he picked was not even on the list. He settled on the Intel Core i9 10850K which is a slightly speed limited version of the Core i9 10900K that still retains a 5.2Ghz boost level, 10 cores and a much lower price tag. Overall, not a bad find.

Phanteks Eclipse P500A DRGB Mesh Edition
We are no stranger to the Phanteks line of computer cases and while there has been some controversy in the past over limited cooling and some quality control they still remain as one of the better case makers out there. They offer solid case designs that are not only unique but also offer a large degree of custom options either from the factory or with a Dremel.
For this segment we tear into the case talking about where components will get installed along with some of the things we like and dislike about the chassis.
