For the benchmarks I have chosen to offer synthetic benchmark results that are repeatable and should provide a good basis for comparison. This is external storage device so while running PCMark 10 might be fun to watch it does not offer a realistic result.
Notice the connection type on the Info screen, this is how you tell if a drive is connected via UASP and what transfer model it is using. SATA is similar to the drives you connect using a cable in your PC. (aka not the M.2 type)
