CyberPowerPC CK60 RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Review
Author: Darren McCainTesting and Conclusion
I have been using the CK60 as my daily driver for a couple weeks now and find it performs brilliantly for both gaming and as a daily driver. Of course, moving to a 60% even from my current favorite ROG Strix Scope NX TKL Deluxe Keyboard does take some getting used to. Playing many popular games that require easy access to certain keys like the Function keys is challenging pushing me to customize some keymapping or to find workarounds with additional mouse keys.
I had a similar experience when working. The CK60 just feels great, keys are responsive and predictable. Its when you need to hit a missing key like the delete button that you get stifled. I also found I am more dependent on those arrow keys than I expected. You just have to go in expecting some changes to get down to a keyboard this size!
Overall, the CyberPowerPC CK60 RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard looks and feels like a keyboard costing much more from a custom keyboard manufacturer. I also found the fell of the keys to be just about perfect for gaming, both responsive and predictable.
I also love the many ways the CyberPowerPC CK60 can be customized and updated. I can easily see this being the tip of the iceberg for a completely custom keyboard build.
Of course, using a 60% keyboard definitely requires some time to get used to, some compromises are needed given that some critical keys have been removed from their normal location to make the size work. If you have never used a micro keyboard, or want to explore customization options, this may be the perfect way to get your foot in the door!
