Creative Pebble X Plus Layout and Features

I love the round shape of the Pebble series; it just elevates the entire line over your typical PC 2.1 speakers. The Pebble x Plus speakers just look better! Branding is kept to a minimum with only subtle Creative branding on the speakers.

You might have to look close to see it!

    Each of the speakers measures in at 139.5 x 145 x 136 mm (5.49 x 5.71 x 5.35 inches) with the tweeters measuring about 2 inches.  The Subwoofer measures in at a compact 156.4 x 156 x 158.5 mm (6.16 x 6.14 x 6.24 inches).

For reference, here are the Pebble X Plus speakers next to the very good Creative Gigaworks T40 Series II speakers.

The left and right speakers are tethered together by a cable that cannot be removed. This cable measures in at 1.2m (3.94 ft) and should be adequate for most desktop setups.  I would prefer a detachable cable to help with cable routing and remove a possible failure point myself.

Controls are located on the left side and centered around a large volume knob that doubles as a power toggle. A LED indicator on the left provides status and confirms the connectivity type selected. Two buttons on the left control the Source and RGB selection.

As a nice bonus, the speakers are threaded for wall mounting or your favorite speaker stands.

Connectivity options are split between the two speakers. The left side has a 4-pole 3.5mm headphone output and a 3.5mm input ports for your mic.

The left side has a 3.5 mm AUX Input Port, a USB-C Port (Audio and Power, up to 5V 3A) and a PD-Power Port (up to 5~15V 2~3A). Using an appropriate external USB power source will boost the power up to 60 Watts!

The subwoofer features a 3-inch driver housed in a 15mm thick bass box with a set of passive radiators tuned to reduce vibration, isolate external sounds, and minimizing interference for clearer and more precise bass reproduction.

Connectivity is provided by a 3.5mm Stereo Cable (1.2m / 3.94 ft) that is attached to the Right speaker. I am amazed to see no additional power is needed for the subwoofer.
