Creative Labs iRoar Bluetooth Speaker Review

Looking out at the wide variety of Bluetooth speaker designs on the market can bring you everything from levitating ball designs to systems that look like a traditional tower speaker. Quality too is all over the board. Creative has chosen to go with the same classic rectangle design proven across the roar series.
The majority of the exterior surfaces are a sturdy black mesh that covers the speaker technology hidden inside. The orange accents are almost more of a bronze in a lower light making the entire system quite easy to pair with your existing audio setup visually.
Only a minimal amount of text is visible on the outside with the branding up front, a call out to the BlasterX Acoustic Engine on the sides and both a NFC indicator and the Designed by Creative Labs on top framing the center speaker. It looks good without drawing attention to itself.
Like all audio devices there are a number of interfaces on the back. From left to right: Power, USB Audio, Micro SD card slot, a Shuffle/Loop toggle, a 3.5mm audio-in, an Optical audio-in, and a Full-size USB Phone Charging Port.
The Creative iRoar ships with a multi-lingual color manual, a soft black carry bag, the power cable and a bright red USB cable. The USB cable can be used as a phone charger or as the USB audio connector.
