    Yeyian Shift Software and Conclusion

The software suite for the Shift is pretty sparce. I believe this is the first version so more changes may be in the works!  A total of four profiles can be edited and shared.

Functionality is split across four sections; Yeyian Shift, Macro, Settings and RGB. On the default, Yeyian Shift, page you can view and edit the functionality of each of the six programable buttons.

The Macros page provides a fairly robust Macro generator with a visual display of the macro code.

Settings provides all of the setting you would expect. The image above shows the default settings.

Sadly, the RGB control are the most basic that I have ever seen. Five presets are provided with no customization or color control. There is no control over the logo or mouse wheel RGB.

    Testing and Conclusion

I have been using the Yeyian Shift Gaming Mouse for a little over a week as both my daily driver and for gaming.  I logged two good days of BF2042, dozens of Fortnite sessions and hours of my work day without any issues. The light weight does take some getting used to when compared to my ASUS ROG Chakram mouse but I quickly got used to the nimbler feel.  After using other Wireless mice, the Shift feels almost skittish with control very dependent on the DPI settings. Buttons feel quick and predictable and the shape is very comfortable over long gaming sessions.

I’ll admit, I usually pick mice with a much higher DPI but rarely find myself using anything above 5000.  I quickly found the Links Shift Gaming Mouse provided everything I needed for both gaming and typical work day tasks. Strangely I settled in at 7200 DPI which is much higher than normal.

Once again, Yeyian has found a way to offer a fantastic number of features for a budget friendly price. Combining a Pixart 3395 sensor with the ability to customize your switches creates an attractive package. It’s simply an amazing price point for a configurable, wireless gaming mouse. There are some compromises when you look at a lower price point, RGB control for example, but the Yeyian shift offers an amazing list of options for the money.
