Conclusion
The Aivia M8600 Wireless Macro Gaming Mouse is absolutely riddled with features. During testing I found the responsiveness the best I have ever experienced. This is the first mouse I had to dial down from max resolution for gaming. The software is clean and easy to use making regular tasks smooth and macro programming as simple as I have seen.
The unusual shape does take some additional time to get used to. Over several weeks I have adjusted to the shape but still find I would prefer a more rounded shape to support the palm grip. My best results seem to be a slightly raised grip to reach the side buttons but still resting in the back. I also found the M8600 heavier than I am used to in gaming mice due to the wireless option and not adjustable like many mice in this price point. The size and weight were non issues during heavy use as the Teflon sliders track smoothly on nearly everything.
Ultimately I have to say the M8600 continues to grow on me. There is no doubt it is the best performing wireless gaming mouse I have ever used. The mix of features and responsiveness overcomes the shape issues over time; I just wish it didn't have to be that way.
