Conclusion
We have looked at a few of the Silverstone Evolution designs and have been really impressed with the updates. The Silverstone TJ08-E is a nice example of how a case can be updated to support a monster air penetrator fan and still retain a classic look. Surprisingly enough the large 180mm air penetrator fan used in that case not only provided positive air pressure but also remained extremely silent even under the higher fan setting.
The Temjin TJ04- E Evolution is no exception to the rule and does a great job at adding a modern twist to an otherwise super clean chassis design. By far the most innovative of these upgrades is the new hard drive rack that supports up to eight hard drives. The drives feature a dedicated cooling solution comprised of two aluminum heatsinks and dual 120mm side fan intakes.
Case cooling also plays a large part in the TJ04 Evolution upgrade and can be seen with the support of six 120mm cooling fans in various locations, ample spacing for hardware and cable routing behind the motherboard tray. All of the fan locations feature case mounted filter assemblies and are easily accessible without opening up the case.
The TJ04-E supports SSI-CEB motherboards and features eight expansion slots. This would allow you to run multi GPU setups and not have to worry about using dual slot coolers. Sadly the motherboard tray is not removable but it does feature a large opening for easy heatsink replacement along with several locations for cable routing. Sadly the cable routes are missing the popular rubber grommets but shouldn't detract much from getting your system installed.
