    Case Interior

With the side and back bezel removed you can see the interior of the 901 is divided into two separate areas.  Each area is painted black with plenty of cut outs for airflow.

Built in cables are braided in black and long enough to reach the entire interior even when the included cable management is used.  A longer power supply chamber supports power supplies up to 200mm (~7.8 inches) with just enough room to breathe.  The power supply is clearly meant to assist with air circulation by helping exhaust hot air so don’t use a passively cooled PSU.

Let’s take a closer look at the back bezel.  Removing the back panel reveals over 2 inches of space to hide your rear ports and cables. The venting helps the optional concealed 90mm fan push air out the back but it can also  serve as a mount for a 120mm all-in-one water cooling solution mounted directly to the outside of the case.  Oddly there are a second set of screw holes in the corners that might provide inspiration for something more ambitious however, In Win never calls attention to them.

The front drive cage supports two 3.5” drive in trays that feature a sliding handle to aid with removal.  Both bays can be converted to 2.5” drives.

The configuration of a slim (ODD) optical drive is an interesting choice that seems to favor form over function but the options are improving.  The drive sits right below the hard drive and out of sight when not open.  A simple cover is included to cover the space if you are following some in the new trend in no external drives.

Installing the SATA drives is simplified by the hot swappable ports shown here for the main drive bays.  The inclusion of these ports is a nice option we rarely see outside of nicer NAS boxes and should be an option on any higher end case.

It is odd to get a case in this price point with no included fans.  The blow is softened by the inclusion of a removable fan cage above the I/O ports. In Win also provides a slick washable magnetic filter that snaps in place below the fan.  When installed the filter is completely out of view and stuck there until you want it removed.
