    Case Layout and Features

Before we dive too deep into the details let’s take a look at the overall design.  As with most Corsair chassis designs, this one is perfectly.. rectangle, not a single curve and clean lines from top to bottom and you will find tempered glass across the front panel and the main side panel.

I have started to call this the “Corner Office” design as it gives you full view of your interior components.

Flipping the case around you’ll find a boring flat panel with a vertical vent covering the included 120mm RX120 RGB Fans.

You will also find this fan grill pattern repeated across all of the vented surfaces including the expansion slots.

There are a total of seven expansion slots on the Corsair 3500X along with some cable tie down points on the rear panel to help with cable management.

Front panel controls are rather simple.  You’ll get a power button, two USB Type-A sockets supporting USB 3.2 Gen 2, a single USB Type-C supporting USB 3.2 Gen 2, a single analog audio connection supporting both headphone and microphone and a small reset button at the back.

The top panel is easily removable using the popular socket style friction clips and comes with a small mesh fan filter to keep unwanted things out of your case.

Of course, this is assuming you use the top section of your case as an exhaust.

The same clips are used to hold the front glass, side glass and rear panel in place making the 3500X super easy to open up.
