Introduction
With so much instability in the technology world it's hard to believe Antec has been around for over 25 years. The resulting experience can be found throughout their chassis line. The new P280 shows just how well Antec has refined their Performance One Series cases. With the tagline "Sophisticated Performance Refined", the P280 provides a solid set of features honed over generations of case design and feedback.
The P280 maintains the solid black exterior found across the Performance One line with an attractive anodized Aluminum door adding some flair to the front. Antec has differentiated the P280 from the rest of the series by increasing the overall size. Each side panel protrudes about 1/2 inch from the front door which effectively camouflages the increased width and offers room for additional venting around the door.
Both sides are featureless and finished in a durable matte finish and are held on by thumb screws. The case measures in at 20.7" x 9.1" x 22.1" (526 mm x 231 mm x 562 mm) and weighs in at 22.3 lbs. / 10.2 kg net. Like most of the Performance One cases, the P280 is only available in Black and does not include a power supply.
