Computex 2015 beQuiet! Suite Visit

I met with BeQuiet on the first day of Computex and was given a quick tour around what they had planned for the next few months.  Maybe the most exciting of these is a change to their Silent Wings fan design and adds some “scoops” to the fan frame. 

The theory here is that you can add more pressure to the fan and improve overall cooling efficiency.  This new fan design will get rolled into many of their new power supplies so you can look for that going forward.

With the success of the Silent 800 beQuiet will be releasing a slightly different version without many of the purposefully placed silent features in exchange for a slimmed down styling. 

They will also be offering a side window option that is comprised of two layers of acrylic.  Per the usual the intent is to insulate against sound transmissions and by separating the two layers there will no longer be a direct path for sound vibrations to pass through.
