Lexar Shows 9600MTs ARES RGB Memory During CES 2025
Author: Dennis GarciaIntroduction
Clock Driver Memory or the new CUDIMM modules have been extremely popular during CES this year with several companies showing their latest product release however, none of them have come close to what Lexar was showing on the main CES show floor.
These ARES RGB DDR5 CUDIMM modules are the next generation of system memory and are clocked in at 9600MT/s making them some of the fastest, if not THE fastest memory modules at CES.
The revised heatspreader design features thicker panels for higher thermal capacity and a larger light bar for more RGB action. These modules will be available in dual channel kits of 48GB (2x24GB) and should be available in Q2 2025.
Some of the other items on display include a new Professional NM1090 NVME drive with some rather impressive read and write speeds up to 14,000MB/s and two ruggedized SD Cards under the Armor brand.
These cards feature a metal frame for superior strength and come with an IP68 rating for those time when you really need to make sure your SD Card can survive.
