    Card Layout and Features

The EVGA GTX 780 Classified comes equipped with the new EVGA ACX Cooling solution that not only is 40% larger than the reference cooler but can deliver 15% lower GPU temperatures across the board.  A reinforcement baseplate keeps the PCB straight and helps to lower VRM temperatures by 7% and memory by 15%.

All those numbers translate into an extremely efficient cooler for regular cards and the Classified edition is even a step up from that.  Dual fans provide top down cooling that vents into your chassis so be sure to have adequate case cooling.
Flipping the card over really exemplifies why Classified cards are different.  Overall the component layout is rather typical with the memory chips positioned around the GPU and VRM located to the left away from the video connections.

When looking at the GTX 780 Classified out of context you may never quite understand just how large it really is.
In the photo we have a reference design GTX 770 next to the GTX 780 Classified.

Video output is comprised of two dual link DVI video outputs combined with a single Display Port and standard HDMI connection.  All four of these can be used at the same time allowing you to run 3-way surround and still have a spare monitor for use outside of the game.
3-way and 4-way SLI are possible using the GTX 780 given the dual SLI bridge connections found at the top of the card.  The nVidia drivers may say otherwise but the hardware is available.  Unlike some of the competitor cards the EVGA 780 Classified is configured to position the SLI fingers at the top of the extended PCB allowing you to use solid SLI bridges including some of the new EVGA designs with metalized logos.
