Although be quiet! offers modular cable management and multi GPU support in the L8 line, the 500W model does not have these features.
The L8 500W may not be modular but it does feature nice braided wires that are terminated in matching black shrink wrap. The cables are almost 18 inches to the first plug and about 6 inches between each connector. That is plenty long enough to reach around the board on most standard ATX installations.
For SATA there is one with three ends and one with a mix of two SATA, one Molex and one Floppy connector. These plugs are black.
There are two PCI-e connectors in a 6+2 pin configuration. These are both labeled individually and colored blue to nicely stand out from the rest of the cables. This power supply will not run a multi GPU setup without an adapter for SLI or Crossfire

Here is the remaining drive cable with three Molex runs available.
Rounding off the available cables are a set of 12V P4 connectors (not shown) and a 20/24 pin motherboard cable. This should support nearly every system configuration not running server style stacks of hard drives.
