Gigabyte 990FX Gaming Motherboard Review

Gigabyte went old school with the BIOS on the 990FX Gaming pulling in a very old layout from the original motherboard launch. Honestly I have become very familiar with this particular layout, it is fast and everything is easy to find.
Below are some of the more interesting screens found in the GA-990FX-Gaming BIOS.(in no particular order)
As with all BIOS menus it is a good idea to root around and identify all of the settings you are looking for and discover what their dependencies might be.
One thing I would like to mention is that for users with Black Edition processors if you want to make multiplier adjustments you have to explicitly enable it in the BIOS. There is a setting buried Advanced CPU menu to enable multiplier adjustments and it will have to be enabled else you’ll be left scratching your head as to why the Overclock keeps crashing.
