EpicGear Morpha X Modular Gaming Mouse Review
Author: Dennis GarciaEpicGear Morpha X Software
The software that comes with the EpicGear Morpha X Modular Gaming Mouse is very straight forward and clearly labled. You’ll find a total of three tabs. Main control gives you access to button assignments and the DPI adjustment sliders. These sliders are tied to Button 5 (default) and allow on the fly DPI adjustments.
Each image sensor comes with a pre-configured DPI level and will report the current levels in the software. Personally I find Level 3 to be perfect for my needs and using that as a starting point can allow me to fine tune each individual level.
Across the bottom you’ll find the five user profiles each indicated by a color. If four DPI levels wasn’t enough you can spread those settings across each of the 5 gaming profiles allowing you to have different DPI settings for each game you play.
Performance allows you to adjust many of the advanced features of the Morpha X including scroll wheel speed, double click, USB pooling, mouse acceleration and many more. Like with DPI each image sensor has a different menu to select from and you can customize them across each of the five profiles.
The final tab is dedicated to macro support and sky is the limit.
