    Conclusion

When I received this watercooling kit in for review I was extremely impressed that EK could put all of this into a single kit and make it affordable.  Overall I would call the EK Classic RGB P360 a solid beginner watercooling loop offering the power of a full DIY setup without the stress of component selection.  Instead all you need to worry about is radiator size to dial in your level of cooling.

In this review we looked the Classic RGB P360.  The kit comes with an EK CoolStream Classic PE 360 radiator supporting three EK Vardar F4 120mm fans.  These are high static pressure fans needed to efficiently cool the 45mm thick radiator.  The EK Supremacy Classic RGB waterblock handles CPU cooling while the EK-XRES 140 SC pump res combo handles keeping the EK-CryoFuel Clear coolant flowing.

The kit comes with 2 meters of EK DuraClear tubing and a full array of RGB cables to ensure that everything in this kit can be lit at the same time.  If you are lucky enough to have an RGB enabled motherboard the EK Classic RGB kit will act as a secondary light strip allowing you to sync the lighting effects across everything.

To make the EK Classic affordable a few things needed to be downgraded.  The first thing to note is the size of the tubing at 3/8” ID and 1/2” OD (10mm/13mm).  You won’t be able to move as much fluid which brings me to the second item.  The EK-XRES is an amazing pump/res combo with really no major issues.  The tank and tank top can be easily removed for cleaning and the compact size makes it extremely easy to install.  Of course the lower end pump and smaller tank are what make the whole thing affordable so it is really difficult to label them as a bad thing.

I did notice that the inlet and outlet ports are both located low on the pump/res and are prone to cavitation especially with how fast the fluid moves in the loop.  Just be sure to spend a little extra time bleeding the system and you should be fine.

As a watercooling enthusiast I get extremely excited when new watercooling kits hit the market.  Not only do I like checking out the new designs but it proves there is a demand for silent and efficient cooling systems.  Some folks worry about safety when it comes to watercooling and I would be lying if I said there were no risks.  However over the years every part of a watercooling system has been improved and when done correctly drops the risk to almost zero.

Be sure to check out the EK Waterblocks Classic RGB P360 watercooling kit.  It is extremely easy to use, installation is a snap and features real EK watecooling components.
