    Conclusion

In this review we looked at the new Mystique 360 from DeepCool.  On the surface the cooler is an upgrade over the DeepCool LS720 that we previously reviewed with a new pump design, refined design elements on the radiator and improved fans.  While the fans are not RGB enabled they did come pre-installed and daisy chain together for easy cable management.

Of course, all of those features are secondary to the real reason for picking up this AIO cooler, the 2.8” TFT LCD.  This 640x480 digital panel consumes the entire top of the 5th generation pump design and will quickly become a centerpiece in your builds.  Unlike other coolers with digital displays the DeepCool Mystique has some rather robust software allowing you to display static images and crop them to fit.

I did find that the included software has some limitations.  For instance, you cannot display system data while you are showing media images.  The transitions are somewhat robotic and limited to 3,5,7 second intervals.  The display does not support animated files and there is a bug with the CPU speed display.

These are far from showstopping issues, in fact they should be easy to resolve with an update to the software.

I am impressed with the ability to daisy chain the included fans as this can really help with cable management.  Sadly, the included fans are not RGB enabled, likely to keep the overall costs down, and happen to be rather noisy when running at full speed.  While this is a common attribute of ALL cooling fans, I feel that these fans would be one of the first things I would change before installing the cooler.

Overall, I am impressed with the DeepCool Mystique 360.  Cooling performance is what you would expect from a cooler of this size and even though the included fans are pretty basic there is nothing stopping you from swapping them out.  I would watch for software updates, as of this review we are using the version 1.1.10.

Currently the DeepCool Mystique is available in two variants.  The 360 featured in this review comes with a 360mm radiator and triple 120mm fans.  The Mystique 240 is virtually identical with the same fans and pump assembly and a shorter 240mm dual fan radiator.
