    Mirage X Layout and Features

The Yeyian Gaming Mirage X is a rather typical E-ATX computer case measuring 517x235x497 mm (20.4x9.3x19.6 inches) making it slightly larger than most but, still rather compact when it comes to other Extended ATX computer cases.

What you will notice right away is the impressive front bezel comprised of six extremely thick clear plastic plates.  These plates work on the principle of edge lighting to provide a unique translucent RGB effect while still allowing full view and full airflow inside the case.

Tempered glass makes up the entire side panel giving full view inside and through the chassis.

Turning the case around you’ll find a solid metal side panel and a full mesh back panel.  The hot thing these days is to provide maximum airflow, or at least the illusion of airflow by making sure there is nothing is in the way.

I would also like to call your attention to the number of expansion slots found on the Mirage X chassis.  Normally there would be 7 slots to match the majority of motherboards ever created from the inception of the ATX form factor.  However, on the Mirage X you will find a total of 8.

This number is significant as it symbolizes how much extra space you have between the basement panel and the motherboard for cable routing, multi slot expansion cards and crucial airflow for demanding graphics cards.

You will find that quite a few panels have been turned into a square mesh including the top panel.  A magnetic fan filter helps to dress up this crucial location allowing you to hide any fans or radiators in this location while also preventing certain small items from entering the chassis illegally.

To the right of the fan filter you’ll find the front panel controls including power and LED control buttons, USB 3.2 Type-A and Type-C ports and a single combined analog headphone and microphone port.

Removing the metal and tempered glass panels will expose many of the interior features of the Mirage X including an adjustable graphics card support bracket along with a cable guard to help dress up your cable routing efforts.

Along the back you’ll file a large panel intended to further hide your cable routing efforts while stopping short to expose two 2.5” SSD drive trays mounted directly to the back of the motherboard tray.
