Thermaltake Ceres 500 TG ARGB Case Review
Author: Darren McCainCase Layout and Features
The Ceres 500 really does have a distinctive look. From the Beautiful hinged window to the to the distinctive front panel, this case looks great. The window is easily removed by opening via the single large thumb screw then lifting it off the hinges.
With the thick hinged window removed, you can see the open design with a separate basement section. The basement is separated between a vented space for power supply and a removable front cover. That front cover is where the optional LCD screen kit will go.
Rear cooling is provided by the included 140mm CT140 ARGB (1500rpm, 30.5 dBA). These fans are much nicer than your usual OEM parts!
There are seven expansion slots on the Ceres 500 each feature a slotted cover to improve cooling. These slots can also be rotated to display your graphics card either horizontally or vertically. Every panel is vented to improve cooling and forcing more air up and out.
The control panel has moved to the left side of the front panel making a window orientation more appealing. This panel includes: The Power switch, Activity lights, one USB 3.2 (Gen 2) Type-C, two USB 3.0, HD Audio and a Reset button.
