SilverStone SST-PM02 Primera Series Case Review

The front panel snaps off to provide a good look at the front 140mm fans. The front will also hold a 2 x 120mm radiator (or 1 x 240mm / 280mm / 360mm) and most of the blade pattern is exposed for maximum efficiency. The bar across the bottom holds the accent lighting. More on that in a minute!
The back 140mm fan location is also designed to hold a smaller 1 x 120/140mm radiator as needed. I see this getting a lot of use with common all-in-one CPU water cooling solutions like the AlphacoolEisbaer 120 we recently put through the paces.
All this space will fit a CPU heatsink up to 167mm and video cards up to 415mm deep. No mods required.
Almost an inch of space behind the motherboard tray provides plenty of room to hide those pesky cables from the windowed side. Three tool-less 2.5” SSDD mounts provide hidden storage across the front. SilverStone has also included some Velcro cable management to get you started.
An additional set of three 3.5/2.5” drive bays are safely hidden away behind the bottom PSU cover. There is a gap of about 2 inches between the bays and that bottom fan for airflow though removing the tray would be a pretty easy mod if you no longer need those older drive sizes.
Removing the front bezel reveals a hidden Silverstone accent in the bottom trim. This simple ground effect is a nice touch and could easily be traded out with your favorite logo. The effect is pretty striking when the lights are low and you can see the logo projecting onto the surface below. The light also illuminates the front vents just enough to create a interesting fade effect.
I'd expect to see this type of effect copied across a lot of cases soon!
