NZXT Phantom 410 Case Review

To test the fit of the Phantom 410 we installed an ASUS Rampage IV Extreme motherboard with a Thermaltake Frio Advanced CPU cooler. The Frio Advanced heatsink is a larger unit measuring in at 130(L) x 130(H) x 25(W) mm.  As you can see the heatsink fits with room to spare even with the two fans still in place.  

As with all Mid-tower builds everything fits with little room to spare including my MSI R7970, no cage removal required.  It's a bit of a stretch to reach the motherboards top power plug but the spacing across the top of the tray works great.

The Phantom 410 builds upon the styling cues we first saw in the full size Phantom and it does it well.  With a combination of flowing lines and angled accents the 410 is a head turner in any color combination.  I must confess I have never done a build in a white case before and the end result is components that just pop with color and thanks to the acrylic window and ease of cable management.  Installation showed components fit well and the finished setup looks clean and clutter free.

This time out NZXT has really listened to the market by providing additional flexibility in cooling options.  Multiple fan setups are supported and additional room was included for water-cooling right out of the box.  Features found in more expensive lines like fan controllers and removable drive cages just add to the value.  If the price point can be believed, the Phantom 410 offers an amazing value in a case that oozes style.
