Case Internals
The PC-6 supports Standard ATX, Micro-ATX and Mini-ATX motherboards with room to spare. The motherboard tray offers a nice 4.5 x by 5.5 inch space for heatsink mounting and four cable slots for your cable runs. Using some cable ties in the parallel front holes provides a nice way to keep things clean and out of the way.
Up to 8 external slots are supported using the included thumb screws. All the slot covers are vented and the drive bay placement allows for cards up to a massive 440mm (about 17 inches) to fit.
Included Goodies
The accessories include a full set of thumbscrews for the drive installation. These screws are designed wider than normal thumb screws and a full set of anti-vibration rings is supplied to go with them.
Also included: The usual assortment of motherboard screws and miscellaneous assorted other drive screws, a mini system speaker and a convenient USB 3.0 to USB 2.0 converter. You will find installation instructions in 5 different languages and a full color accessory catalog. Pro TIp: Be sure to check product compatibility before ordering extras.
Install
We installed the Asus Crosshair V formula motherboard to test the fit and finish. As you can see, there is plenty of room around the motherboard for cabling and accessories. We used a pretty small heatsink here but there is about 7 inches (175mm) of available space for a good aftermarket heatsink. This simple installation test reaffirms the outstanding fit and finish. There are absolutely no sharp edges and everything fits like a glove.
