Computex 2015 InWin Booth Visit
Author: Dennis GarciaIntroduction
For the past several years inWin has spent considerable time to bring non-traditional case designs to the market that are actually quite popular with computer enthusiasts. In the past cases like the D-Frame and S-Frame started out as experimental designs that sell well enough to warrant an ongoing production schedule.
This year InWin pushed the design envelope even further with their H-Tower design.
H-Tower starts out as a tower style cube with different layers of aluminum panels hiding the computer components inside. Like S and D frame before this is an open air case that works on the stacked ventilation principle.
There is a mobile app for H-Tower that will control things like fans and LED color but will also open the case up to show of the components inside. Lasers at the perimeter will let you know if anything is in the way and pressing the button actuator slowly transforms the case into what looks like an open flower with the computer components in the middle.
The final price is currently unknown however if you have ever priced a personal robot you’ll know that servos don’t come cheap.
