beQuiet had their display setup next to Hall 1 in the Grand Hyatt hotel which was a common location for many companies looking to have a quiet meeting room. This year there appeared to be fewer hardware vendors in the hotel but still serves as a great way to sit down and actually discuss the products instead of just looking at them.
The Dark Rock series in the US for a few months now and one of the biggest issues is the cost premium. Their products are of higher quality which commands the price premium but to sell in volume you need to cater to both groups of buyers. To address this beQuiet is coming out with a line of lower cost coolers, fans and power supplies that should maintain price competitiveness along with delivering the standard beQuiet performance

The fans have a unique tab design that reduces flex on the outer fan ring and is rumored to also reduce noise vibration. The best part about them is the price. Look to get this fan in either a 120mm or 140mm configuration for the price of a good lunch.
