    Introduction

One of the last vendors I met with during CES 2015 was CyberPowerPC.  Cyberpower was in the news quite often during the show because of this, the Trinity gaming computer.   The case was designed as a partnership between CyberPowerPC and Deep Cool and is rumored to be a real case design that you can pick when building your dream system.

Each of the three spokes is a component of the system and while it may seem like a complex routing of cables and components the design is really quite simple.  The center section acts as a cable channel for SATA cables and the PCI Express riser.

The system and case aren’t really my style but I can easily see this case occupying a high end law office or sitting on a desk intermixed with house plants and waterfalls.

In 2014 I reviewed the CyberPowerPC Zeus Mini and was blown away by how powerful the system was and how well the SFF chassis worked with the component choices.  In 2015 there will be a new Zeus that features a revised chassis design and a few more color options.  I didn’t get to see inside the case but I can say you will get a small side window to show off your video card and absolutely no optical drive.  This may sound strange but one of the things I liked about the first Zeus Mini was the fact it came with a full sized optical drive and while “nobody” uses them anymore it is still a good feature to have.

I guess after looking over the configurations there is a high percentage of folks who don’t add an optical drive to their builds.  Of course that doesn’t include folks with pre-existing drives so who knows if the demise of the optical drive is accurate or just the start of a transition.

The final item in our CyberPowerPC CES 2015 wrap-up is this super mega Fangbook Extreme complete with dual graphics cards and mechanical keyboard.   Yes you read that correctly, mechanical keyboard.

Many of you have seen this desktop replacement from MSI and if you buy from them you'll get a set system configuration.  However, if you go with CyberPowerPC not only do you get the same basic machine but a custom Fangbook chassis and the ability to customize the notebook to your system specifications.

Check out the CyberPowerPC website for more information anything they have to offer.
