Consumer Electronics Show 2014 Cars of CES
Author: Dennis GarciaIntroduction
One of the coolest things about CES is checking out the new technology and in some cases checking out how that technology is being used in our everyday lives. The North Hall has typically been dedicated to car technology and can range from car audio to actual cars.
Some of that spills out into the central hall but the cars become more of an attraction than a centerpiece of their display. Take for instance the Forumla E racer at the Qualcomm booth. It really had no reason being at CES except to help promote the booth.
The Pagani Huayra was also a good example of a car used to attract attention. This carbon fiber baby can do 230mph with its 720hp engine but is no match for the virtual swarm of people looking to get a photo of it.
In this gallery I’m showing some of the cars I saw on the CES floor. I snapped these shots on the Friday of CES before I flew home. While this is a valid CES show day many vendors will start packing up around noon to beat the rush home. Sadly that means no models and in some cases nobody in the booth.
