    Grand Prize
    HBT+ Turbine 700 Computer Case
    Gigabyte Z170X-UD5 Skylake Motherboard
Crucial Ballistix Elite 16GB DDR4 Memory
    Crucial 250GB SSD

The Crucial memory and storage components were provided by Crucial who was also a sponsor of the event.

The setup for this raffle started two months before the LAN Party and allowed Darren and I to create everything we needed.  The first was an after the credits teaser for the Day 3 question which was actually an extremely funny “microphone check”.  I won’t spoil it for you but check out the end of Episode 60 to hear it for yourself.   (think Marvel after the credits teaser)

From there I was able to stage a few more things like the conversion of a full Podcast episode (EP 60) for the Hardware Asylum YouTube channel and write a watercooling article that tied back to the ongoing Thermaltake Core V51 casemodding project.

With the stage set the only thing left was to promote it at the LAN.

The first evening was really fun and, as expected, we got a mix of correct and incorrect answers.  This set the stage for the remainder of the event and prompted folks to pay more attention.

Days 2 and 3 allowed me to interact with the attendees a little more and in some cases help them confirm the correct answer for the raffle.
