NVIDIA Debuts GeForce RTX 4060 Family Starting at $299
NVIDIA today unveiled the GeForce RTX 4060 family, delivering all the advancements of the NVIDIA Ada Lovelace architecture — including DLSS 3 neural rendering, third-generation ray tracing technologies at high frame rates, and an eighth-generation NVIDIA Encoder (NVENC) with AV1 encoding— starting at just $299.
The ultimate graphics cards for 1080p gaming, the GeForce RTX 4060 family includes:
- The GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 8GB, available starting Wednesday, May 24, at $399
- The GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 16GB version, available in July, starting at $499.
- The GeForce RTX 4060, available in July, starting at $299.
In other news, DLSS is now supported in over 300 games and applications that are available to gamers and creators today, including the addition of DLSS 3 to D5 Render, and more. Anker EverFrost Powered Cooler 40 @ LanOC Reviews
Ok, so now I have seen it all. First we get super efficent coolers made similar to a LN2 Dewar and now we are getting powered coolers?? Well who better than Anker to pull this one off.
It's been interesting to see Anker slowly move into the off-grid market with their Anker Powerhouse lineup which goes well beyond what a small battery backup is capable of as far as power storage and even includes AC outlets and capable solar charging as well. This is perfect for people who are camping but I would also lump in people with large properties/farms where getting power everywhere isn’t possible and also people in the trades which may not have power available where they are working. Anker’s latest product falls into this same category, their EverFrost Powered Coolers integrate large battery capacity into a powered cooler to keep things cool or frozen for up to 42 hours depending on the size you go with. With summer coming up I can’t think of a better time to be able to put one to use, so today I’m going to check out the new EverFrost Powered Cooler 40 which is the 43L capacity to see what it is all about.

Noctua presents NA-FH1 eight channel PWM fan hub
Noctua today presented its new NA-FH1 fan hub. The NA-FH1 is a high-quality, smartly-protected 8 channel PWM fan hub that allows up to eight PWM fans to be run and controlled simultaneously via a single PWM motherboard fan header or stand-alone controllers such as the optional NA-FC1. Supporting both 12V and 5V fans with 4-pin PWM and 3-pin connectors, the NA-FH1 is highly flexible and suitable both for PC environments and other 12V- or 5V-based applications.
